A Tribute To Kenny Ball


Kenny Ball's legacy continues this October.

When Kenny Ball passed away in March this year it was feared that his excellent band would go their own way and the legacy of Kenny's music and energy would die with him.

It was Kenny's wish for his son, Keith, to keep the band together and carry on as band leader / vocalist. With the excellent Ben Cummings filling Kenny's considerable shoes the band has carried out Ken's wishes, with critical acclaim, and have continued to delight audiences with the same energetic show.

The feedback from the audiences has been more than encouraging at the after show autograph sessions and it's hoped that the band will go from strength to strength. John Bennett, Kenny's trombone player since 1958, has likened the band's energy to "similar as it was all those years ago". The band continue to fill the show with many of the hits associated with Kenny interspersed with high quality Dixieland classics...
